Madison McKoy grew up in the small town of Lillington, North Carolina, USA. He migrated to Australia in 1994. He's been singing since he was knee-high to a grasshopper in church and caught the acting bug while in high school playing the role of Perchek in "Fiddler on the Roof".
During his university years, Madison performed on stage in his "spare" time singing and acting, while studying for a Bachelor of Science Degree. He starred in roles such as "Joe" in Showboat, "Jim" in Big River, and "Jesus" in Godspell. He also engaged in his first film as "Cab Calloway" in Radioland Murders.

Madison entered into a contract to perform on board the Cunard Crown Dynasty with the Ray Kennedy Entertainers in December 1993 as a head-liner singer/dancer sailing the Alaskan waters. It was soon after this contract ended that Madison decided to visit the Land Down Under.
Shortly upon arrival, Madison auditioned and was cast in the Australian Premiere of "Miss Saigon". That's no small feat for a newcomer to a new country. After that, Madison was cast in other stage musicals like "Sweet Charity", and "What The World Needs Now" and made singing appearances on Australian television shows like "Midday Show with Kerri-Anne", "In Melbourne Tonight", "Denise", etc. and also landed a few movie roles. In 2002, he played "Johnson" in the remake of "South Pacific" starring Glenn Close and Harry Connick Jr. Madison also played the "interviewer" in the U.S. tele-movie "Looking for Natalie Wood" starring Michael Wheatherly and Justine Waddell. On the cabaret front, Madison has performed "Been there..." at La Bar, "Yank Down Under" at Slide Lounge and has hosted and performed shows on yearly harbour cruises. Recently, Madison was requested to perform his song "My T.V. Screen" at the Riverside Theatre in Parramatta to help launch director, Lee Lewis' Currency House Paper on Multi-Racial casting in Australian Theatre. Presently, Madison is doing his cabaret "Yank Down Under" at The Seymour Centre Sound Lounge in Sydney.
In addition to stage shows and film, Madison also delves into the live music scene and recording. He's performed at the world famous "Basement", "Metro Theatre", and "The Golden Sheaf" to name a few. He released his debut EP in 1999, Deep Within and his second CD in 2005, 10th Child.
